Is it okay to rest in times of crisis?
‘You’re not doing enough’ ‘Rest is radical!’ ‘You need to check your privilege’ ‘You don’t have to save the world’ I bet you every activist has struggled with the guilt of rest… I don’t have good answers, but increasingly I’m learning that it’s okay to prioritise my joy while navigating this messy, messy world.

The COP system brainwashes you into thinking there’s no alternative, that this is the only way the system can work. This is what it wants you to believe: Slow, incremental progress, or nothing at all. It is a process that strips you of all imagination and creativity and hope.
